Good and Bad Days for Planting in Early July, 2011

Don’t bother planting between July 2nd and 6th. Instead, do clean-up, weeding and maintenance projects.

July 7th-8th: good days for planting peas, tomatoes, beans, and all above-ground crops. Sow grains and plant flowers now. July 9th-11th: especially favourable days for planting cabbage, lettuce, cauliflower and leafy vegetables.
