Growing Strawberries in Sweden

Strawberries are ripe in Sweden around the first day of summer, known as the Summer Solstice and in Sweden as Midsommar. Midsummer is celebrated in Sweden on the weekend closest to June 24. Here, my cousin is offering me the best strawberry from his Åsa estate’s large garden, in which he also grows horseradish and potatoes. Note the straw-laden rows in which the strawberries grow,
