The big 99% sign on the Lily of the Desert Aloe Vera Gelly does not mean that the bottle contains 99% aloe vera–it means that whatever is in the bottle is 99% “organic”. There are plenty of other ingredients in there besides aloe vera! In small print under “99%”, it says “certified organic”–which doesn’t mean much. The company wants you to assume that their bottle contains 99% aloe vera.
Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera is not 100% aloe. It is 100% GEL! And couldn’t we determine that by just looking at the gelatinous compound through the semi-transparent tube? It also says “Pure.” Pure what?
