
M-J’s Pound Cake Recipe
2 Sticks of Regular Salted Butter
2 Cups of Sugar
3 Cups of White or Unbleached White Flour
1 Tablespoon of Vanilla
6 Eggs
1/2 Cup of Cream or Milk
1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
Preheat oven to 350°. Cream butter and sugar. Blend in half of the eggs. Gradually add flour and other dry ingredients; add the other three eggs, beating, followed by milk or cream. Beat for three minutes. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake for 1.5 hours until a thin knife inserted into the cake’s center comes out clean.
